CORRE
Started by Dan Corron after working eleven years for one of the largest Commercial Real Estate Developers and Landlords in Central Iowa. From working with a wide array of clients, he understands that not everyone should receive cookie cutter services for their complex and unique situations when dealing with Commercial Properties. No two properties, municipalities, companies, negotiators, negotiations, transactions, architects, contractors, etc. are the same…
So why are you being offered cookie cutter services rather than customizable solutions?

A bit about Dan
How his past helps to better assist his clients.
A native of the Des Moines area, Dan graduated from West Des Moines Valley High School and pursued higher education at Luther College, where he met his wife, Rachel. Following a brief period in Chicago, Dan and Rachel chose to return to Des Moines, attracted by the exceptional opportunities shaped by decades of visionary leadership and of course a desire to be closer to their family.
Most recently Dan Corron was a commercial real estate sales and leasing agent at Denny Elwell Company. His role managing a diverse portfolio of investments and working with a wide range of clients enabled him to excel across all sectors of commercial real estate sales and leasing. His expertise spans tenant and landlord representation in retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use developments, as well as buyer and seller representation across the various asset classes. He has developed a particular aptitude for tackling complex projects, including affordable housing initiatives within the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) sector and non-conforming use developments, where his strategic insights and problem-solving skills have consistently delivered exceptional results.
His past work experience also brings a distinctive and diverse professional background that enhances his ability to understand the challenges his clients face and provide customized solutions to help them succeed. In high school, Dan began his career in sales at The Buckle in West Des Moines, where he demonstrated his leadership abilities and advanced to become the store manager in Vernon Hills, Illinois. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in retail operations, customer service, and team management.
Dan further refined his interpersonal and service skills as a server and bartender in both small-town Iowa establishments and upscale venues in Chicagoland suburbs. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industries, sharpening his understanding that to best serve his customers first you must intentionally design a space to help you do it as efficiently as possible.
His expertise in negotiation and marketing was then honed during his tenure at Toyota of Des Moines, where he served as Internet Sales Manager having a front row seat to the shift to ecommerce. He also served as the Scion Champion, overseeing the dealership’s Scion brand strategy giving him the position to understand that the best way evolve a brand to is to first know and understand your customer.
This varied career trajectory has equipped Dan with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities businesses encounter, from operational challenges to strategic marketing, enabling him to address both the big picture and finer details through real estate solutions to ensure his clients achieve their goals.
Dan’s signature hat and beard make him instantly recognizable in any setting, but it is his approachable demeanor, can-do attitude, and unwavering passion to exceed expectations that leave a lasting impression. Being a natural networker, Dan thrives in building genuine relationships that create opportunities for collaboration and success. His skill in fostering connections and maintaining a robust professional network has been instrumental in driving both his clients’ achievements and his own reputation as a trusted leader in the commercial real estate industry.
When not at work he keeps busy trying to be the best husband and role model to his two daughters. He also feel passionate about volunteering his time and talent to the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute as Board Member, Committee Co-chair and founder of the Downtown Des Moines Chamber Development Insights Group (DIG), former Board Member for the Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association (ICREA), current Singing Board Member of the Des Moines Choral Society, part of the Wine, Food, & Beer Showcase Committee for the Des Moines Metro Opera, and is highly involved in his church in multiple leadership roles. If there is free time that pops up in his busy schedule you might find him on his bike, on the golf course, or going on some epic adventures with friends and family.
